Mario Badescu - Acne Starter Kit Review

Before I get into talking about the Kit I want to give you guys a run down on my skin very quickly. Now I've have combination skin, an oily t-zone and normal cheeks. I'm 20 years old and I've had skin like this since high school.nI've tried every single product on the market for pimples, acne etc. I've used Pro-activ, clean and clear, Clearasil, garnier nearly everything and nothing worked for me.

So I went in to Mecca Maxima and I happen to see the Mario Badescu Acne Starter Kit, now I watch a lot of different beauty guru's on youtube and I think it was Jaclyn Hill who was talking about Mario Badescu products and she was raving on about how amazing his products were. I didn't know Mario Badescu products were even sold in Australia so when I saw that they had his products in Mecca Maxima I though why not try it? I mean I've tried everything else and it didnt work. I paid $39.00 for the kit.

I love the cleanser, toner and moisturizer. They all have a nice smell and feel really good on the skin. I love the moisturizer because it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy but the two drying creams.. I don't really know how to feel about them, they have a really weird smell, like your putting dirt or something on your face. I did use the drying cream yesterday to dry up some break outs I had and it did work but the smaller drying cream is basically like a concealer that helps dry up your pimples and I did not like it at all because of the smell.

So far the products having been working well for me, I wish I would of taken a before photo to actually see the improvement but I completely forgot. I actually think I'm going to buy the full size products of the cleanser, toner & moisturizer. I will do an update later on these products just to see how they'll work in a couple of weeks and even months. Wish me luck! :) :)
