So about 8 months later I decided to go ombre. And this probably sounds so bad but I did it myself and loved how it turned out. Now the first time I did it, it turned out orange.. which is meant to happen because its starting the lightening process. I used the L'Oreal Preference Wild Ombre No. 2 for Dark Blonde to Medium Brown. 2 days later I went in again and used another box and it went blonde! I was soooo happy and I loved it, everyone once again complimented me and I loved it!
I love using those L'Oreal Ombre Kits because they're so easy to use and they make your ombre look so natural. In Australia you can purchase this anywhere from Priceline to Coles, Woolworths, Big W and even Kmart.
Now I kept using this and then moved onto the Light Blonde to Blonde box. After a couple of months of having ombre hair I got very bored with my hair and wanted something different but wanted to keep the ombre. I did something crazy and dyed my hair a hot pink! I used the Schwarzkopf Live Colour Ultra Bright Shocking Pink. It looked really good and I got complete strangers coming up to me at work and telling me how they loved my hair and that it suited me. I loved it too but when it faded it didn't look do great anymore, I then re-dyed my hair ombre because I was going overseas to my cousins wedding. And when I feel like my blonde is fading or I want it to be a little more blonde then I use the L'Oreal Paris Preference Very Platinum.
One thing I've learned from having ombre hair is to use purple shampoo and to use nourishing treatments on your hair because it becomes very damaged. Down below I will post photos of the products of all the hair-dyes I used.
